Indoor–outdoor living

Bring the garden into the room

Replacing a wall or old patio doors with full-height glazing transforms how a house lives – more daylight in every season, and one flowing space between kitchen and garden in summer. The right system depends on your opening, your view and how you'll use it every day. We supply and fit all three, so our advice starts with your home, not one product.

Frequently asked questions

Should I choose bifold or sliding doors?

It comes down to how you use the space. Bifolds open the entire aperture, making inside and outside one space in summer – ideal for entertaining. Sliding doors keep more fixed glass, so you get bigger uninterrupted views all year round, but only part of the aperture opens. New Wave slide-and-turn doors sit in between: open one panel for everyday use or slide every panel away for a full opening. We fit all three and will talk you through what suits your home at the consultation.

How much do aluminium bifold doors cost?

It depends on the size of the opening, number of panels, glass specification and finish. Send us your approximate opening width and height through the form below with a photo of the space and we can usually give you a guide price before any site visit.

How many panels can a bifold door have?

Typical configurations run from 2 to 8 panels, folding to one side or split to both. Panel count is driven by the opening width and the look you want – fewer panels mean fewer frames and larger glass. We measure precisely at survey and every set is made to order for your aperture.

Can I have a level threshold?

Yes. Low and flush threshold options create a near-seamless transition between inside and outside – a detail worth planning early if you are laying new flooring or a patio, and one we coordinate at survey.

Are aluminium bifold and sliding doors secure?

The systems we install use multi-point locking, internally glazed panels and security-tested hardware, with police-backed security accreditation available. Aluminium frames are inherently strong and hold large panes of toughened glass safely.

Do you supply and install?

Yes – every project includes a detailed site survey before manufacture, and installation is carried out by our own experienced fitters, with aftercare from a local company. We are based in Hertfordshire and work across Hertfordshire, North London and the wider South East, with larger projects undertaken across London, Essex, Kent and Cambridgeshire.
