Aluminium steel-look & genuine steel
Steel-Look Internal Doors, Screens & Partitions
The classic slim-framed industrial look, supplied and expertly fitted across Hertfordshire, North London and the South East.
Broken-plan living
Divide your space without losing the light
Steel-look glazed doors and partitions let you separate a kitchen from a dining room, close off a home office or create a boot room – while daylight still flows through the whole floor. The slim black frames add architectural character that timber and plasterboard simply can't, and glazed screens keep sight lines open so smaller rooms never feel boxed in.

Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between steel-look aluminium and genuine steel doors?
Steel-look aluminium doors recreate the classic slim-framed industrial aesthetic in modern aluminium: they are lighter, will not rust, need no repainting and typically cost significantly less than real steel. Genuine steel doors use hot-rolled steel profiles for the authentic article – the choice for period restorations and heritage projects where originality matters. We supply and install both, and will advise honestly on which suits your project and budget.
Are these the same as Crittall doors?
"Crittall" is a brand of original steel windows and doors, but most people use the word to describe the slim black-framed industrial style. Our aluminium steel-look systems achieve that look with ultra-slim glazing bars and narrow sightlines, while our genuine steel option is the closest match to original Crittall-style fabrication.
What glass options are available?
Clear toughened glass is standard, with laminated and acoustic laminated options for safety and sound reduction between rooms, plus reeded, obscure and sandblasted designs where privacy or texture is wanted.
What colours and finishes can I choose?
Matt black is the classic choice and the majority of what we fit. Greys and whites are readily available, and most systems can be finished in virtually any RAL colour, with a choice of handle designs in black, satin, chrome and antique brass.
Do you survey and install?
Yes – every project includes a detailed site survey before manufacture, and installation is carried out by our own experienced fitters. We are based in Hertfordshire and work across Hertfordshire, North London and the wider South East, with larger projects undertaken across London, Essex, Kent and Cambridgeshire.
How much do steel-look internal doors cost?
It depends on the size, configuration and glass specification – a fixed screen costs less than a pair of French doors with sidelights. Send us your approximate opening sizes and a photo through the form below and we will usually be able to give you a guide price before any site visit.
